Steve Pierce is very grateful for the support and trust of the Washtenaw County Skilled Building Trades Council and their member Unions. "Like many in the union and throughout the community, I am opposed to the City Income Tax", said Steve Pierce. I understand how devastating a City Income Tax will be on working families. A City Income Tax will unfairly burden honest workers and discourage new investment and building in our community. A City Income Tax will also make it more difficult to attract new home buyers or sell an existing home in Ypsilanti."
